Two teams from MSMR competed in the Buccleuch Property Challenge this year. Held annually in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle Scotland, the six hour non-stop race includes different stages with mountain biking, running, orienteering and this year a bush tucker trial of mealworms, crickets and pickled eggs!
So how did our teams get on? The ‘Two Glass Backs & a Dodgy Knee’ team came 6th in the men's event and the ‘Beer Hunters’ team were 22nd in the mixed event. We also enjoyed competing against our fellow clients and collaborators. Taking on the challenge of Buccleuch every year is a great way to get fit, but the event is really about raising money for a good cause. So far this year, participants have raised over £12,000 for Scottish charity Seamab who provide care and education for vulnerable children with complex needs.
