This year MSMR Architects celebrates 25 years in business. As we mark this milestone, we are reflecting on our evolution, our achievements and the people and projects which have shaped us into the practice we are today.
MSMR was founded in 2000 in Battersea with a workload comprising high-value residential projects. By 2006, assisted by a significant body of work in Gibraltar, we had expanded sufficiently to require a move to our current studio on the Southbank.
MSMR has grown organically to our current size of 55 and our workload has diversified to encompass heritage, commercial and hotel projects alongside our core business of prime residential. To each sector we bring the key skills valued by our clients: the creation of value through design, focused collaboration, and the ability to deliver on site.
Over the years we have been fortunate to work for the best clients in the industry, forming long-standing relationships with many of them. At our core, we enjoy what we do and foster a positive working environment. Our team is our greatest asset, and we would like to thank them all, past and present.
The practice has evolved in recent years becoming an Employee-Owned Trust in 2018 and B Corp certified in 2024.
Our passion for creating thoughtful and well-crafted architecture is as strong today as it was 25 years ago, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
