This week was all about ISH!
Both Associate Director David and Associate Susan travelled to Frankfurt, courtesy of CP Hart, to attend the world’s leading trade fair of its kind. Held in the Messe Frankfurt exhibition hall, the shows hosts around 200,000 visitors and over 2,500 exhibitors each year.
An important date in any architects calendar, there are showcases from the top kitchen and bathroom designer and supplier names, (think MGS, Bette, Gessi, Gerberit, Dornbracht, Grohe and Toto etc), but more interestingly the trade show also focuses on future design innovation, exploring the conservation of resources and the use of renewable energies. With the evolution of architecture and engineering advancing all the time, and sustainability high on the design agenda, the themes at this year's ISH show couldn't have been more relevant.
