Developer, U+I has submitted proposals for their mixed-use scheme on Greenwich Peninsula that will deliver around 1,500 new homes, over six acres of public realm and a landscaped park along 275m of the River Thames. Designed by OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture), Morden Wharf comprises 12 high-quality, tenure-blind residential buildings, as well as commercial, retail and community spaces. U+I's plans have been submitted to the Royal Borough of Greenwich for approval following extensive consultation with the local community and key stakeholders.
This year MSMR worked in collaboration with OMA and using a strategic space planning approach, developed the mix and distribution of apartments to maximise site efficiency, optimise layouts and to create a well-balanced spread of tenures across the scheme. MSMR also advised on the layout and distribution of commercial, community, amenity and ancillary uses at ground and basement level.
