It's an exciting time on site at Morley House this month, with many elements of the residential-led scheme already complete. MSMR Architects captured these images on a recent site inspection, and practical completion is expected in the coming weeks. The apartments have some minor elements to finish, and the ground floor residents' entrance is also progressing well. Timber lining and Dolomite stone flooring has been installed, and wallpaper has been hung in the residents' lounge. Free-standing furniture and joinery are set to be installed following completion.
Behind retained Portland stone façades the building has been reconstructed and extended to provide 44 private rental apartments ranging in size from one to three bed, including two penthouse duplex units. Residents’ amenities on the ground floor include a lounge and screening room. Meanwhile the existing retail space at ground and basement level has been enlarged and enhanced.
