MSMR is delighted to see that our One Bishopsgate Plaza Sky Residences have been shortlisted for the SBID International Design Awards 2022, in the “Residential Apartment Over £1M” category.
This recently completed development is a mixed-use, 43-storey building in the heart of the City of London. Within the PLP designed tower is a 237-room, 5* luxury Pan Pacific hotel as well as 160 private apartments or ‘Sky Residences’.
MSMR’s design for the residential interiors is inspired by spectacular views across the city, together with the geometry, patterns and shapes of the building’s exterior architecture. The sequence and proportion of spaces has been thoroughly considered and the selection of materials and interior finishes provide an elegant creative response – appropriate for contemporary City living.
Each award entry has been evaluated by industry-leading experts for functionality, technical merit, creative delivery and ability to inspire. The final stage of the judging process, before the awards ceremony on Friday 21st October, falls to a public vote which will make up 30% of the result.
