This year's office trip took us to the university town of Ghent, where we spent a wonderful day exploring the city's architectural sights.
After crossing the Channel on Friday morning, we made our way to Ghent in time for a lunch which included Flemish culinary staple Moules-frites along with some obligatory Belgian beer.
With heavy bellies and light heads we headed out for our afternoon walking tour, taking in buildings old and new before ending at the impressive Ghent market hall.
A beer flavouring workshop followed by dinner, more drinks and dancing concluded the "supervised" part of our trip. Some of our group departed on Saturday morning and the rest stayed on until Sunday to enjoy a weekend in the city.
