Planning permission achieved for Morden Wharf.
The masterplan scheme by developer U+I, designed by OMA, proposes 1500 new residential homes accommodated across 12 high-quality, tenure-blind residential buildings. To support the new community the masterplan scheme incorporates commercial, retail and community spaces.
Working in collaboration with OMA, MSMR adopted a strategic space planning approach and developed the mix and distribution of apartments to maximise site efficiency, optimise layouts and to create a well-balanced spread of tenures across the scheme. MSMR also advised on the layout and distribution of commercial, community, amenity and ancillary uses at ground and basement level.
