As works get under way to demolish the existing buildings on site at our mixed-use scheme, Ransome's Wharf in Battersea, we visited New London Architecture HQ at the Building Centre for a peak at the development in miniature on the NLA model.
At 12.5 metres-long, the NLA's scale model covers more than 85 square kilometres of London, 19 Boroughs and approximately 170,000 buildings, including 34km of the Thames with its corresponding 21 bridges. When it's not at home in the Building Centre, it travels to events such as MIPIM in Cannes and the London Real Estate Forum showcasing the development of the capital through interactive elements.
