We are excited to showcase our involvement in the Allford Hall Monaghan Morris designed Television Centre masterplan, located in the iconic former home of the BBC headquarters in White City, West London.
MSMR have been appointed by Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan to design the interior fit out for Phase 2 of the scheme, in collaboration with AHMM and dRMM architects, and ARUP engineers. The two buildings offer a total of 347 apartments, along within Gillespies designed landscaping, and associated amenities for residents.
The dRMM building comprises of residential units arranged over 9 storeys, while AHMM’s consists of a 23-storey tower with 9 storey ‘shoulder’. The lower ground car park space is shared by both blocks.
The residential accommodation contains a wide mix of apartment types, ranging from studios to townhouses and four-bed penthouses. Our design is inspired by the unique existing context of Television Centre, and complements the newly designed exterior architecture.
Apart from residential units, the masterplan includes a diverse range of commercial spaces, including offices, shops, restaurants, and a private members' club. We are proud to have played a crucial role in creating a vibrant community space in the heart of White City.
