MSMR are appointed by Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan to design the interior fit-out for Phase 2 of the Television Centre development in collaboration with AHMM and dRMM Architects, ARUP Engineers and Tatjana von Stein interiors.
The Ariel building, designed by AHMM, is 23 storeys in height and comprises 167 units. MSMR carried out a comprehensive redesign of the internal layouts to maximise the value of the development and to comply with new fire safety legislation.
MSMR’s design for the interior fit-out of the apartments draws inspiration from the geometry and patterns of the AHMM-designed tower and from the historic neighbouring Television Centre buildings. The spectacular views across the city, sequence and proportion of spaces and the selection of materials and finishes have been thoroughly considered, providing an elegant, creative response appropriate for contemporary City living.
Within the building a number of resident amenity spaces are provided including, co-working space, wellness suite, bar and private dining room.
